How to create pages and content in Joomla |

You'll need to log into your Joomla administrator section.
Select, Content >> Static content manager ![]() Once in the new section click on New: ![]() This will bring you to the section where you can alter the Title, content, images and the menu link of the content you want to create. (1. on the large image below) You can add the title, content (intro text) (2. on the large image below) Images within your website need to be uploaded to the "Stories" folder in Navigation: Site >> Media Manager.![]() Once they are uploaded, they will become available to us within the left hand block of the Images Tab. ![]() To use images on the content of the page you're editing, you will need to move them over to the block on the right hand side labeled "Content Images". the order of the image within this block will determine the order they show up on your page. ![]() (3. on the large image below) To place an image in the content / copy of your website you need to click on the button labeled “Insert Image” this will place the word mosimage in the copy of your page. Joomla will replace this with the image you've placed in the right hand block of 2. in the image below. You may place multiple tags within your content, they will be displayed in the order you've placed them in step 2 above. ![]() Linking your content onto the menu / Creating a menu link: 1) To the right of your page, select the "Link to Menu" tab: 2) Select the menu you'd like to have the link on (The positioning of these menus may change depending on the Joomla template you use, so you'll have to experiment a little.) 3) Type in the link's name, this is the text to be displayed on the menu. 4) Click on the Link to Menu button ![]() When you're done, click on Save: ![]() |
